Susan Cain

Executive Director – Susan has more than 18 years as a health care professional on the Oregon Coast. Prior to joining the Cascade Living Group team, Susan had the pleasure of working as an Administrator of both Assisted Living and Memory Care Communities.  She has been recognized by her staff as being a manager that is an effective leader and is well respected in her community.  
When Susan is not working she enjoys dating her husband of more than 20 yrs. and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Resident Services Director – Melissa is a native to the Coos Bay/ North Bend area. She has been with Inland Point since July of 2008. She started out working as a caregiver and lead med aid until January of 2011 when she was offered the Assistant Executive Director position.  Melissa is an asset to the management team as well as the care staff and will jump in and help out where ever she is needed. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading, and going to the movies.

Judith Lynn Smith

Community Relations Director – Director of Marketing has worked for Inland Point Senior Community for over 4 years. She has worked in the industry before coming to us and has a passion for sales and senior- living.

Judith has two children loves to travel with her husband Frank and collects antique dolls.


Bernie Shipman

Life Enrichment Director – Bernie was born in Manito, Philippines.  She came to the US in November 11, 1978. Bernie has been working in the Healthcare field for more than 27 years.  She has worked as a caregiver and medication aid, but her true calling is as an Activities Director.  She has been a member of the Inland Point team for more than 12 years.  Bernie’s hobbies include sewing, painting and gardening.  She has 2 sons and 1 daughter that are very important to her and enjoys spending time with them.

Barbara Bellinger

Dining Services Director – Barbara has been cooking for more than 33 years. Barbara has been part of the Inland Point team for 20 years. She is an amazing cook and always goes above and beyond to ensure that our residents are happy with the meals that she prepares. Barbara tends to spoiling the staff by giving them cookies or passing out chocolates on special occasions.

She enjoys reading and can often be found at the Library. She has a son that lives out of town that she is very proud of and looks forward to spoiling when he comes to visit.

Dining Services Director – Devon Icenbice is a Oregon native but has been in the bay area for 2 ½ years.  She came to us from New York City where she got her degree in culinary arts.  She has worked with some of the top chiefs in the country before deciding to move back to Oregon.  She enjoys working at Inland Point and interacting with the residents in which she serves.

In her off time she enjoys playing with her dogs, hiking and walking along the beach.

Jerry Sinclair

 Plant Operations Director – Born my grand fathers farm in Apple Valley (Parma) Idaho. My parents left the farm in 1948 my father decided to become a logger. My family was on the way to gold beach when the car broke down in Coosbay,Oregon late summer of 1950. My family has been here ever since.  Completed High School 1957.  Worked construction one year, 1958 Went to work at Menasha plywood mill. 1959 Enlisted in the Army when my brother graduated.  We enlisted in the artillery for a tour in Germany.  I stayed in for 3 1/2 years. upon discharge I returned to my job at the Menasha sawmill in North Bend, Oregon The mill shutdown summer 1967, October 1967 I went work at the Menasha paper mill North Bend ,Oregon.  1974 I bid into the maintenance millwright program for a four year apprenticeship. 1980 Weyerhaeuser Company purchased the paper mill.  2002 retired with 42 years 28 as a journeymanmillwright.  Met Susan Cain when she was director of the memory care that my mother was in. 2012 went to work for Susan at inland point as the Maintenance director.
